Haize Project X Carbone 14
When one bag’s journey ends, another begins
At Haize Project, sustainability has never been just a word. It’s what guides every one of our decisions — from the design of our bags to their everyday use. We create products built to last, repairable, and guaranteed for life. But sometimes, even these bags reach their limits. Too worn by years or miles, some can no longer be repaired. Rather than letting them disappear, we’ve chosen to entrust them to someone who shares our vision of durability: Carbone 14.
Carbone 14 is a Parisian workshop founded by Charlie Daudré-Vignier. Here, upcycling becomes an act of creation — nothing is lost. Every material finds new meaning, every piece a second life.
When a Haize Project bag can no longer be repaired, it’s sent to the expert hands of Carbone 14. Each bag is carefully dismantled, cleaned, and transformed. From a single Haize bag, three new bags are born. They are handmade in France, using as many original materials as possible — canvases, linings, buckles, straps, zippers… a meticulous, craft-based approach designed to give new value to what already exists.
This partnership is a natural continuation of our commitment. It allows us to take our circular approach even further, extending the life of our bags beyond their first purpose.
With Carbone 14, we prove that a truly durable bag is one that can continue to exist in another form — still driven by the same idea: to last, differently.
